We stayed at this hotel for 7 nights in September, right at the end of the season. We both enjoyed it. The room was basic but clean and towels and sheets changed daily. The bathroom is designed badly, but is also very clean and has the usual soaps and shampoo. We went half board, breakfast and dinner. The food was surprisingly good, a good choice starter and main, with big portions. It was always exciting trying to guess what we were getting, at least we had the authentic italian experience. The hotel sits one block from the beach with plenty of sun loungers and cafes, I also recommend the traders walking up and down the beach, who offer great deals on a wide variety of stolen stuff. (We didn't buy any, but watched them scurry from the politzia urbana). Staff were nice and friendly and most spoke some english. If you don't know about the area, it is very commercial, with plenty of bars, restaurant and jewellery shops, but not much culture, luckily Venice is about 1h30 and €20 will get you a return bus/boat. Overall though, a very nice place for the price we paid.
