felt very much UNwelcome throughout our trip.. facilities and rooms are fine but you really get the feeling that the staff would rather you weren't there....pool closed for a day but no reason nor apology given, bar closed, jacuzzi closed, cafe closed most of the time then when open ish there's no one manning it, breakfast- depended on what was happening as to what you could get, if it's been a busy morning for the miserable staff and you get there after 8.30am, forget it. (breakfast was supposed to finish at 10.00am..) when the pool was open the pool boy plays dance music at full blast and only turns it down when the boss wanders past. (we asked repeatedly to have it a little less loud but this only worked for 20 mins at a time. as soon as he got to a track he liked, back to full whack. i don't mind music honestly but it was so loud i couldn't read! great if you want a 'party' hotel but not for relaxing by the pool. plus he only had one cd so i now know it by heart...)
i've never known a hotel to give us this aftertaste. real shame as the facilities are fine and the location is a good base for the area.

the hotel is nice very comftable with a large pool,the room was always spotless but without a balcony so u have to go downstairs to smoke a cigarette, the b`fast was nothing special very limited, aboat the area really disaponted very dirty and filty i would`t choose giardini naxos again for sure

Hotel located in a quiet area. You don't need to worry that buses will wake you up in the early morning or late comers in the hotel will wake you up. The staff was very helpful and offered us great hospitality. Rooms refurbished recently and very up to standard. Good value for money. Breakfast delicious - with doughnuts and croissants freshly baked each morning..........Swimming pool area clean and beautiful. Definitely recommend this hotel

I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived a this hotel. The online reviews weren't very good and to be honest, the location is not the prettiest but the hotel is a proper 4 starts and just 400 meters from the train station (can't beat that!) and 2 minutes walking from the beach in Naxos. (cheeky taxi driver at the station asked EUR 15 to take me there - just walk!)
I loved staying in Naxos as I didn't depend on minibuses carrying me to the Lidos and had the peace and quiet I wanted (whilst Taormina can be too busy). The nearby beach was great and I also had the option to take the Interbus to Recanati - the most beautiful beach in Giardini Naxos!!!
Back to the hotel... the breakfast was very good (eggs, bacon, bread rolls, jam, fruit, yogurt, etc) and staff were very friendly. The swimming pool was great (clean and big with loungers and fresh towels) and there was a jacuzzi on the 1st floor terrace (it was hard to find the entrance though). The bedroom was very clean, the towels fresh and the air-con very good.
I'd suggest that they "upgrade" their pillows as I struggled to sleep with them. Also, the pipe noises in my room woke me up everyday at 06:00 as the people sleeping next door insisted in waking up at this crazy time!!!
I was a bit cheesed off when I was refused an iron and iron board - they probably wanted me to pay for laundry -, such courtesy have never been declined to me before.
This hotel lacked a business area (PC, printer) but I can see why some people would not bother with. The manager was very kind in letting me use his desktop PC to print my boarding pass.
I'd definitely recommend this hotel and have plans to go back next year.
