Ok so a few reviews go on about the area. On the approach road it might not be the prettiest street in the whole of sicily, but it's not a problem. It's a small beach town developed from a fishing village originally I believe so the whole point of the place (Giardini Naxos on the whole) is that it isn't flashy.
We arrived late after an interesting journey from the airport on Bus and Train because we didn't hire a car and didn't want to pay the high airport transfer. The hotel staff were so welcoming and ready for us so that the checking in process was really quick. Helpful with where to eat and drink and how to get up to Taorimina (on a very fun bus ride!) and all round couldn't fault the service.
Breakfast is what we expected from a european hotel and we ate well each morning.
The pool was lovely and because it's not in the main touristy area it means it's nice and quiet.
The room was a good size with a four post king bed (not two twins pushed together) with a big balcony that also had two sun beds on it.
My only tiny problem with the hotel was the shower, which didn't always drain properly - but that's just a bit room specific.
I would happily go back to this hotel if I visited this area again (and after all the lovely food and drink and experiences we had I think we're definitely going back).
