Though I realised that this hotel was situated outside of the city there were 3 things that attracted me to it in its online page. I was disappointed in all three. The hotel is described as being set in a "big park". This is not true. It is in a residential area surrounded by apartment blocks and near a large shopping centre. The description of its excellent cuisine made me decide to eat there so I opted for half-board. This was a mistake. The menu for guests on half-board was very limited and while the food was perfectly adequate, it was absolutely undistinguished. It also said that there was a shuttle bus to bring guests to and from the city. When I first enquired about this I was told I would have to take public transport and was waved in the general direction of the shopping centre. When I insisted i was very begrudgingly taken in the shuttle bus. This hotel is geared for and frequented by travelling business and salesmen. Most of the guests were obviously regulars and were treated quite differently from the foreign tourists. This was the only place I was disappointed with during my stay in Italy.
