We stayed in a room for 3 people which was very spacious (2 connected rooms--like a small apartment). The staff is really friendly and the hotel is very pretty, with nicely-appointed rooms and common areas. We parked on the street but were given a pass to put in the window so we didn't have to feed the meter. The breakfast was really great in a wonderfully warm dining room. You can't beat the location, either. I would definitely stay here again.

Hotel situated in a fantastic location. You can not ask for more, everything is within walking distance (even if Ferrara is very small town and on a human scale) and more is in a very quiet area. No noise. For the rest all very normal, in line with the dictates of globalization. Rooms small, very small, with a smell of chemical cleaners, clean, with small beds, devoid of any charm. Basic breakfast, "fake" products with long shelf life for the most part, reasonable quality. Reasonable price, correct. In conclusion: Good hotel for business travel, much less traveling for pleasure.

My husband and I just returned from two nights at the Hotel De Prati and totally enjoyed our experience. It is located steps from all the tourist sites, yet it is quiet and peaceful. The sisters who run the hotel are very helpful and friendly, and the hotel is spotlessly clean and comfortable. Breakfast is quite generous and there is plenty of variety. Parking is available nearby for only 3 euros per night if you have a car. If we return to Ferrara we will definitely stay at the Hotel De Prati and recommend it as a great value!

We stayed at Hotel de Prati for 2 nights and truly enjoyed the stay. Greatly located only few steps from the historic city center. The property is immaculately kept with many tasteful decorating touches. The breakfast is well above the Italian average with quality products. Public parking not too far away and only at Euro 3 per day (ask reception for pass).
The Owner was very kind in providing valid recommendations for local restaurants.
