I come to Ferrara quite often for work, so Hotel Ferrara has become my home away from home.

Staff are super friendly, food is great (let Diego choose or make something for you), I love the bicicle service to go around the city, and location could not be better. Fantastic view of the castle in front, and all shops, restaurants, and supermarkets whitin waking distance.

I have been coming here for 4 years, and never had a problem. I usually stay in the apartments, which have a small kitchennette that allows you to cook and have a small dinning and living area.

The only negative is that it does not include internet, so 15 euros for 24 hours can get expensive if staying for weeks. For quick connection bring your passport to the castle and get 90 minutes of free internet, or use the business center for quick searches.

What a surprise! We had no expectations of this hotel and it turned out to be spectacular. An enormous room on the top floor was worth spending a little more for (even though the prices are very reasonable compared to the major cities). The public spaces are tiny but the rooms are large. The modern bar outside is great for hanging out and people watching, and the restaurant is pretty good too. The location of the hotel cannot be beat. Right across from the castle, you are right in the middle of the town. There was a festival and antique car show the week we were there and it was fascinating. Lovely restaurants with beautiful outdoor patios line the streets and everyone rides bicycles around the town.

We spend one night here as part of an EuroBike cycle trip from Venice to Florence. The rooms was of good size, very good bed, clean, with small bathroom (shower) facilities. Breakfast served is very good with a good buffet selection. Coffee served is excellent. The hotel is located right in the centre of town near the castle.

Lovely hotel in the middle of Ferrara right opposite the castle!! Lovely staff who were very helpful and the breakfast was fantastic! The best thing about the restaurant was that it had a great homely feel to it unlike many hotel restaurants I have stayed in!!

The room was nice if not a bit small but the most annoying part was the length of the internet cable...you had no choice but to sit at the desk.
