We stayed there only 1 night…place is quite nice inside, nice garden, modern rooms…but considering 1.5 km of broken road leading to it (beware of huge holes) and a couple of strange industrial buildings surrounded by barbed wire…it gave a strange feeling of staying in an a slightly artificial place…it was not far away from Ferrara, but you need to have a car to reach the city…
When we came around 3 pm everything was shut down and nobody around… after 15 min the owner appeared and without even a slightest attempt to be polite and apologise for not being around, she started to register our personal data…she was sitting… us standing in front of her…wanted to have all our details like home address etc, as apparently all this data needs to be sent to the police office to check in case we are criminals…it is send also to third organisations (like regional statistic tourism offices) and it seems like in latter case, guests have to be informed where their personal data is sent, but probably in italy…or maybe just in this place things were different…another little detail – normally guests are supposed to sign the registration form, but we haven’t been asked…
Breakfast is schedules from 8 to 9:30 (found it a bit early for people on holidays) and check out time is 10:30…during breakfast we were pointed out our places… at the same table with other 4 people…probably the idea was we had to socialise, but if someone just want to have a quite breakfast? …food is nice.. not great choice, but good quality, coffee was good…
Must admit there were positive moments, but overall impression made me think I’ll never come back there…
