We stayed at the Tirreno Hotel for 10 days while we traveled throughout western Sicily. Although not in the mountaintop city of Erice, it certainly is conveniently nearby.
The staff could not have been warmer or more attentive to our needs and the food in the hotel restaurant was outstanding. As we spend most of our time sightseeing, our rooms were more than adequate. They were clean, spacious, and a/c worked just fine [necessary in June!].
We will be returning to Sicily and yes, we would most certainly stay at the Tirreno Hotel on a return visit.
