The morning starts with the view – wake up to the Dolomites, covered in snow, like crystals, right outside of your window. First you smile and offer up a silent prayer that you’re lucky enough to be here, then you jump out of bed and head down to the breakfast buffet. Delicious Cappuccino made individually for you, and the breads, jellies, meats, eggs, cheeses, cereals -- enough to pump you up to rush back to your room so you can dress warmly, grab your skis and meet the bus at the front door of the hotel and head to the slopes, a five minute ride to paradise… A day of skiing at Madonna di Campiglio is second to nothing this traveler has experienced. Add in the food, drink, camaraderie, and in-general goofy fun on the mountain, it’s exercise at its best! Then we head back to the hotel for a little spa time and a swim in the indoor pool. Quickly shower and try to look presentable for the delicious dinner prepared each night. The food is terrific, but the company may be what brings us back year after year. This is a family run and family friendly hotel that I would recommend.
