We have just returned from our family Ski holiday in Folgarida, we stayed in the Vime Neve-Sole apartments. A great place to stay if you want to be close to the slopes.
We arrived late on the Friday night after picking some one up at Milan Malpensa, then it is a four hour drive upto the resort.
There was happy smiling member of staff to greet us with the keys for our apartment. What a relief after long drive.
The apartment itself was spacious enough for the four of us, three adults and our two month old son Brodie. Seperate bedroom with double bed and a very comfartable sofa bed in the livingroom. The kitchen was a bit small but fine for what we were cooking. ( not much). The bar and restaurant in the resort are the main source of activity at night time, good food and great value for money. The main thing the apartments have going for them is the on-site Ski hire shop which is run by Marco, very helpfull guy.
Once you have your ski's it's up a few stairs and then you step onto the freshly groomed piste, amazing, it does'nt get much better. Once you have had your fill for the day, you ski back down to the apartments, ski's of then into the bar for a relaxing drink.
Found the lift passes good value for money, they have a great idea in place, you get ski insurance when you pay for your lift passes, and don't forget your 5 euro refund when you return your lift pass. A great place to stay, friendly staff, good value, what more can i say.
