This is a value hotel which was clean and comfortable with a good shower room. Our room had a small balcony and the patio doors had effective shutters. There is plenty of parking, free wi-fi and a bright dining room. Tiled floors and air conditioning make the interior pleasantly cool after a day in the sun.

The room was adequate although the cleaning of it was rather slapdash. The ash tray on the balcony and waste baskets were emptied and the contents disposed of by me in the waste collection bin out side the hotel.

The restaurant was a disaster. Four or five waiters to serve approximately100 guests with plates cleared without any quesions raised by the waiters as to why in many cases the food was uneaten. Most of our evening meals consisted of salad and ice cream

The bar was used as an overflow with guests from the restaurant thus leaving very little space to have a drink.

Just back from staying here, as part of a Constort Travel holiday.
The first room we were given was very small, smelt awful and had only one small wardrobe. After complaining we were given a slighty better room.
The balacony overlooked the street and we agree totally with the other posts re the rubbish collection early in the morning.
Then there was the train... this rattled past a various times throughout the night which fortunately helped to block out the continually barking of the local dogs!
The food at dinner was plentiful but poor, however breakfast was okay.
Also the bar left a lot to be desired - limited seating and poor ambience
No umbrellas or chairs at the swimming pool.

we were very disappointed with our room. Our balcony looked over the road, where every morning at approx 6am they noisely emptied the bins and where we enjoyed the not to pleasent smell of the drains. The double room consisted of one double and single bed. cooker that didn't work, double drainer sink. not the thought of thing we would have expected considering we were paying for half board. and a single comfortable?? chair to sit. after taking a shower on our first night there, we walked across the floor and ended up with dirty feet. so obviously the floor had not been cleaned and was never mopped all the time we were there. the pool and the sun terrace had lovely loungers but there was nowhere to lie or sit in the shade. there was no tables and chairs outside to sit with our friends in the evening and socialise.

The food included chips every day, very little choice and one night we had three slices of cheese and chips. not exactly what we expected for an evening meal.
Breakfast was no better and after one of our party used the drinks machine and extracted a cup of brown water (before putting the tea bag in) there was no way fir us to get a hot drink.

Overall opinion of The Hotel Mediterraneo. Don't bother even considering a holiday there.
