We have just returned from our stay here and would like to pass on our recommendation on this lovely little hotel. David, Silvana Dan & Nicole & Sam couldn't be friendlier. The food was great and plentiful. Its the only hotel I have stayed where I have been offered second helpings. You won't go hungry. The drinks are all named brands and are double measures. I don't know how they do it. We stayed in the annex ( the biggest room is 14) and was impressed with everything about the place. Value for money was exceptional. David puts on entertainment nearly every night and while I wouldn't put it on par with the Palladium it was all good fun.

We spent 5 days at the Hotel Nettuno at Diano Marina, it was a very quiet location which was great, but close to the town (within walking distance), the area is very nice with wonderful veiws. The Hotel on the other hand, appeared nice and the staff are friendly, but accomodation is minimal, ,beds made daily, wet towels just hung back up not replaced, floors not swept, no covers on the feather duvets which were dirty and stained, we did have clean sheets and pillow cases, and the tea and coffee was never replenished.
Now the food, breakfast was basic, cornflakes, cocoa pops bread rolls or toast oh and hard boiled cold eggs , you had the option of a full english which consisted of fried egg, rasher of bacon, 1 sausage few beans and a slice of toast, the evening meal you were given a choice of 4 things 2 of which were warm salads the other 2 came with chips tinned carrots which were doused in garlic, so was the cabbage and green beans that we had on the other nights there was no fresh fruit, only tinned fruit salad which was offered at all meals with cheap ice cream. Lunch time menu was A La Carte, yeah right, Pizza, steak in breadcrumbs, the steak was 2mm thick, ham and egg all served with chips or again warm salad, i could go on and on about the food but i won't.
We had entertainment, two nights were vocalists which were very good, another night we had bingo and the owner of the hotel telling not funny jokes, well i will leave it at that

Return visit after four years. They often say never go back, it`s never the same. In the case of the Nettuno a few things have changed, mostly for the better, but it`s core values remain the same, friendly, welcoming service, good food, cleanliness and value for money.
The all inclusive even extends to the hotels own postcards and a packed lunch if you are out for the day. Sure the rooms in the main hotel are a little small, especially the bathrooms, but I can`t recall being charged for a suite, the ~only four brussel sprouts~ mentioned elsewhere in these reviews I personally find a blessing.
As always it`s value for money, and you will have to travel widely along this coast to find better
Will we return, damm right, and we won`t be leaving it four years this time

Hotel run by family who couldn't do enough for us.Good home cooking and plenty of it.Meals were chosen the night before so we always had fresh produce.For breakfast we could have continental along with full english.Rooms were very clean with tea & coffee making facilities.There was entertainment every night.Would love to go back.
