“What a great family hotel!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 October 2011

Excellent value for money, great size room, good bathroom, excellent food, made to feel like you are part of the family, everyone so friendly, even though we cannot speak Italian and family could not speak English, communication was never a barrier, really enjoyed our stay and the atmosphere was fanstatic, it is the Italian experience we were looking for, thank you to the management and staff for making our stay a memorable one!

Room Tip: This is located central to everything you need and right in the heart of Tuscany. Great value for mo...

“not as nice as depicted on travelling websites”

if you get a cheap price and arent expecting much then fine, but we found a much lower standard then equivelent hotels that we stayed in. The airconditioning hardly works and is turned off all day, the room decor is horrible, the shower had very little pressure and many of the staff couldnt be bothered with us because our Italian is poor. It does have everything you need but everything is basic once you walk past the front desk

“Beautiful hotel with lovely views, good location, nice location, friendly staff”

We stayed at this location in May. In fact, we ended up staying at several Albergo hotels and they all were superb. If you have a chance to stay at one, I would definitely recommend them. This particular location was convenient to the spas, as well as dining. They had a very nice breakfast every morning but it would have been nice to have dinner as well. I think it was still early in the season, so I'm guessing that's why no dinner was served. However, we were given the location of the best restaurant in town, which we ate at several times during our stay. The rooms were very spacious and clean. Quite comfortable. You had a nice view, depending on which side you were on. Parking could've been more plentiful. Staff very friendly and helpful. We didn't have a laptop to utilize the free wireless internet and the front desk person very graciously let us use his since a separate computer wasn't provided. We would definitely stay there again.
