We stayed for 3 nights in September during our Tuscany trip. Wonderful hotel with amazing views and very professional staff. Our room was quiet, spacious and light with a wonderful bed. We loved the big bathroom with top-notch shower and free-standing bath... heaven! We only ate breakfast in the hotel and decided to eat out for lunch and dinner. The Trattoria was already closed for the season, which was disappointing and the menu for the hotel restaurant was very limited and sounded rather boring. The hotel does not have a bar so if you do not eat dinner in the restaurant but would still like a drink before going to bed, you have to sit around in the reception area (and it takes some luck to find someone you can actually order a drink from). Nevertheless, for a relaxing break in a great location, we would definitely come back.

We went all-out for your honeymoon and stayed at some of the best hotels in the region. L'andana was amongst our favorite because of its beautiful simplicity and transcendent level of service. Maybe if we stayed for a week breakfast/lunch may have gotten boring but the food was unsurpassed in freshness and delicacy compared to the breakfasts at other hotels. We took a cooking class which included a tour of the grounds with the chef and ended up with the most amazing risotto to ever have graced our lives. We had dinner in the restaurant and everything was superb. The spa (ESPA) was equally as luxurious. The L'andana is not huge and the menus may be simple, but to us it delivered perfection.

The hotel is in a beautiful location , the service is good and people at the reception are very helpful .The rooms are well equipped usually with a great bathroom .There is also a kid's club which is very well equipped .By now you understand that the problem is with the food , when going to a Ducasse place you are hoping for a good breakfast , not there ! And if you arrive late the small kitchen where breakfast is presented has not much to offer .If you stay for a week you will have the same kind of "tartes" offered to you everyday !! Italy have great fruits but you do not enjoy it there .At lunch in the hotel ,you have a ridiculously small menu , and you end up eating the only pasta not al dente of all Italy , and all this for a very expensive price .Even the one star restaurant was disappointing this time around .The place is great ,please Mr.Ducasse do something for the food !!And this place will be a paradise .

We found this hotel through leaders club (lhw.com) who we are members of. As lovers of tuscany, maremma and monte argentario, we have had very high expectations that were in fact overcome by reality...

I dont know what to begin with... The surroundings of hotel is magnifique. The design and architecture of hotel, spa, rooms, gardens, parks is so beautiful. True italian style. Focuns on all details. You feel so good spending your days in such an environment. Beautiful old trees, flowers, little sculptures, beautiful outdoor pool. You dont want to never leave this place.

As members of leaders club, we were upgrade to highest category of suite in the historical building. The suite was so spacious. Especially the bathroom was breathtaking.

The service was excellent. Especially the front desk. We felt TRUE interest in our needs and feelings. The staff was so attentative and helpful. They helped us with everything, with extension of our stay, recommendations for dinner, trips, beaches etc. The hotel does have almost family atmosphere as we met new friends from among other guests and spent some nice moments together.

The food was excellent both in the hotel and in the hotel micheline star restaurant as well.

When we stayed in this hotel, my wife was pregnant. Yesterday I booked a week in the beginning of September as we are coming back with our little twin boys.
