The Britannia is a unique hotel, for many years we spend our holidays in Cesenatico and this year we have been delighted with the hotel that we choose.It is very elegant and sophisticated yet retaining an antique air.The staff could not be more helpful and the restaurant service was tip top.We cannot wait to return next year.

I was looking for a hotel with a see view, close to the beach and with a private beach with space enough for my two sons and I have found it. Moreover I like places with a history to feel and tell. I've found the family that owns the hotel helpful and nice.

We stayed here when we visited Cesenatico for a wedding last month. The staff were friendly and attentive, the hotel is very clean (with modern en-suite facilities) and the location is superb. We preferred to eat in the town's many excellent restaurants, so booked B & B but our friends on half board said the evening meals were very good. However, the breakfast choices were a bit limited.

A lovely owner run beachfront hotel which has been in the same family since the 1920s. If you are looking for a relaxing beach holiday I doubt if you could do better. Although Cesenatico is a busy bustling Italian seaside town, the hotel's private beach is very relaxing - non residents are quickly moved on. The hotel has been renovated over the last three or four years and some of them now have very modern bathrooms with jacuzzi type showers. When booking it is a good idea to ask for an updated room with modern bathroom,

The food is excellent with a good wine list. There is a swimming pool which although it has a children's area is not very good for adult non-swimmers who just like to lig around in the pool as it is qutie deep.

There is a beach bar which serves good salads, sandwiches, drinks etc.

All in all a nice relaxing holiday - the Italians of course are very child friendly
