We were here for the European Sports Kite Championships.
Our room had 3 single beds, 2 of them pushed together, but made up as singles, which was disappointing for a married couple. The batteries in the remote control for the air conditioning were flat. The towels are very thin, but are in generous amounts. The bathroom was very curious: it was a wet room with a fold out shower cubicle (small), which only just fitted in the space between the sink and the bidet. An excellent use of a small space, but it was a very small space. The sheets and blankets were the only soft furnishings in the room, making it very echo-y and it felt like an institution.
The 5th floor rooms have no balconies and only skylights: no proper windows at all.
The buffet breakfast was plentiful although choice was limited, hot drinks were brought by the waiting staff. The evening meals at the hotel were very efficient and much better than you would expect at a similar quality hotel in the UK, mass catering done well. We didn't drink much inside at the bar, but outside on the patio was lovely. The staff certainly did their best for us and were willing. When we arrived, having missed lunch in our previous city, everywhere we looked was closed, the hotel took pity on us and re-opened the restaurant to serve us some antipasta and offered us some wine free of charge!
I'd not choose it, but I've been allocated accommodation in much worse hotels.
