I know why my husband and I were a bit dissapointed in this resort. It was because we have been members of club la costa for 11 years now and have been going to our resorts in spain and scotland and this just does not come close to them in terms of quality and amenities. Don't get me wrong there was nothing wrong with it if you are used to going on package holidays ( and I know that sounds snobby I cant put it any other way, sorry).
I gave it 3 stars for cleanliness as it was clean when we arrived but we are used to getting our place cleaned and new towels every day not just once or twice a week, and I have no problem cleaning the place myself.
There is not much to do. You cant use the pool between 12 and 4 as it is 'lunch' and there is no pool, guard.
My husband like the TV on holiday it is how he relaxes, and we had one channel which was in english, it is really geared towards the german market.
The food at the restaurant was really nice though and the pizzas were fantastic.
The little grocery store was ok for basics but very expensive 4 euros for the smallest jar of coffee you can get!
We never had a car this time but to be honest it was ok as there is a bus service in to cefalu( which is beautiful), but I would have expected the timetable to be put in the resort info and not left to chance that people will enquire at the reception about a bus service!
I enjoyed myself there but truthfully would not go back.
