The hotel here in Cefalu is very nice. Near the city, little town, you can experience well remembered journey.
Cefalu city has a few places where it is nice to go. Shops, the coast by the port, restaurants, cafes and train with good connections to Palermo and other large cities.
The hotel, Santa Lucia: near the sea, good stadard, very friendly restaurant's staff, tasty meals.
Noise of the train gives moments of reality.
Clear pool and a tennis court.
Everyday siesta, which keeps you in silence before the evening.
Rooms are usual like you can expect in hotel.
Weather is almost tropical as views around.

The hotel cannot be faulted for cleanliness, my room was delightful with a balcony and a shower that is one of the best I have come across. Let down by rooms that have interlinking doors to each other which means the guests in next room can be heard very clearly .
Breakfast is a bit repetitive each day and coffee usually only luke warm , but evening meals varied especially on their special nights and were good value . Town is about 20 minutes walk away along the sea front .

The first and last time I ever pick a hotel without doing any research. This hotel...ugh, gross. We arrived by car from Taormina, where we had just spent 4 awesome nights. Finding the hotel is very easy as it is located on a main road outside of town. Other than that, it’s all down hill. The room they gave us smelled disgustingly like someone has been chain smoking in there for the past 30 years. I went down to the desk and was told the hotel is non-smoking; well tell that to the maids who have their break room right next door from this room. I saw three of them smoking when we checked-in…the front desk was not very helpful at first as they kept stating they are a non-smoking hotel and this could not be so. I SAW them with my own eyes!
The front desk then stated they couldn’t move us as they were sold-out, I kept pressing them and they moved us to another room, which just smelled like mildew.
The hotel is old and dated and smells like it too, no really they have 13 inch TV’s in the rooms. The pool was okay, over crowded for our taste. The beach is a very long walk down and very small. The city center is a 25-30 minute walk along the water behind the hotel. Oh, the hotel has free parking…
There is a small restaurant across the street Miosotide, highly recommend.
I do not recommend this hotel, its your Italian vacation, find somewhere nicer to stay and closer to town.

we went to this hotel beginning July with 2 children. The food was not so good let's say 6/10, the menu is every week the same. Poor breakfast. Nice swimming pool but toilets at the pool very dirty. Rooms were ok and cleaned every day. Very noisy hotel. Difficult to get some sleep. Nothing in the near neighbourhood, you have to take a minibus(no airco) to go to Cefalu Centre which is very nice. Good animation team for the children.
