Mind you we were there in the beginning of the tourist season, but still the closed pool area was in the beginning a disappointment. When we asked the staff where we could sunbathe - they organised sun lounges by the (empty but clean) pool.
We didn't hear any building noise even though the other side of the hotel was obviously being upgraded.
Breakfast was plenty and nicely laid out.
Staff just couldn't so enough for you.

downside for us was the long distance to the town - but had we been there later on in the year, the open air club next door might have proven to be the real problem.

all in all, it's a nice 2** hotel in process of upgrading. value for money was good so. all in all just what you'd expect for the money we paid.

We traveled in Sicily for 2 weeks staying in nice hotels rated at around $100-120 and were never disappointed except
here in Tourist:
1. service poor: nobody to help with luggage
2.room in poor state: the outside blinds were BROKEN and could not be closed
3. the maintenace of the room is disastrous: paint, ventilation, and so on.
We certainly do not recommend such a poor quality hotel at such a high price.

Hotel is a classic two star hotel. Nothing of special. Rooms are old with holes in the wall.
All staff are not so educate and in the morning cry around the rooms, impossible sleep after 8 am.
Beach is not ok and full of rocks. Others Cefalù Beach is fantastic.
Normal Breackfast but nothing of excellent. Restaurant is ok in particular on Saturday Night.
Price is too high for the service.
Parking is always full.

Hotel decor old ,would not recommend this hotel for anyone with walking disabilty,pool was not open, being repainted (really bad fumes from this).Food was mostly cold and not to my taste.
PS. Take your own kettle.
The hotel was clean , the staff were pleasant.,the evening entertaiment was good
