“Stay here........ but not half board”

This is agreat hotel. We were allocated a sea view room at the front of the hotel which an amazing view. The room itself is ideal. -Spacious with a good shower and toiletteries in the bathroom which was immalculate. The bedroom had plenty of hanging space and a small fridge with a just few bottle bottles in. We stored drinks bought in the local supermarket (3 minutes away) in the fridge and this didn't cause any issues.
The staff were all friendly and helpful.
We had unfortunatley booked half board which was a huge mistake (we have done this before in Italy and been happy with this). The choice is very limited and the food poor quality. An earlier reviewer mentions the food is fresh but it clearly isn't as when we asked for slight variations these couldn't be accomadated. Breakfast is as you'd expect in Italy and quite acceptable.
Cefalu doesn't have the same access to sight seeing spots as Taormina does and if you like to be out and about a week here is long enough.
If however you prefer the beach or pool this hotel is ideal, both are modern and well kept with the sea warm even in June. If you do go in June please note that the roof toop terrace isn't open until early July, which was a great shame as the view up there are fantastic.
Cefalu itself is a lovley town and very atmospheric, with good restaurants - less touristy than Taormina.
A visit by train to Palermo is a must if you visit here, make sure you plan an itinery in advance as it's very hot and busy.
There aren't many review on this hotel or Cefalu, so if you have any questions please free to get in touch.

Excellent place to stay- just at the beach and quite close to the old town.

“lovely hotel”

just returned from the cefalu sea palace.the hotel was spotless and very friendly.we loved the fact there was no mad scramble for sunbeds as there are plenty for everyone.the hotel also provides beach towels and is spitting distance from its own private beach.the mini bar and bar are a bit pricey.we had two rooms and they were both spacious and well furnished.the children loved the hotel too.
breakfast was very relaxed with a nice choice of food and drinks.
the hotel is situated right on the beach and just a short stroll to the town of cefalu.

Room Tip: rooms all seemed similar standard.rooms at the back are quieter

“Perfect”

A great hotel. If you can't decide whether you should choose for the pool or the beach, you should stay at this hotel. It has this beautiful pool and his own private beach. It's near by the lovely streets at Sicilly with the nice restaurants. Now and then you can eat on the roof of the hotel, for about €60,- you get a delicious dinner with great view from the roof.
The hotel also has it's own bar with a lot of drinks. The people are very willing to help you and very nice.
I really recommend to choose this hotel to stay in Sicily. I've got nothing to explain.
The breakfeast is great, they've got a lot to choose of.

“Marvellous hotel, we will come back”

Cefalu is still one of the most nice towns in Sicily, and I can't think of a better place to stay than Sea Palace. It is not cheap, but the rooms and facilities are really pleasant, and the easy access to private beach with free chairs etc. makes it perfect. Besides, it it very clean, the service is excellent, and the breakfast was among the best we got during our two weeks travel on the island (Only missed the real expresso)
Highly recommendable!
