My fiance is handicapped and we spoke with the manager and communicated with the owner prior to our arrival in Sept. 2011. One of our issues was that heat gets my fiance very, very sick. The manager told us "no problem" and that everything would be taken care of. Reality: the fist statement made by the manager upon our arrival was "I hope you brought bug spray". There was no air conditioning, open windows with no screens, no handicap facilities (my fiance slipped in the bathroom and sprained her ankle), a broken range, a broken "mimi-fridge" and reasonably dirty. We toughed it out for four days only be being away all day so we could use the air conditioning in our rental car. My finance was getting more ill by the day. So, I spoke with the owner and told him we had to leave for health reasons. He said ok and that he understood. The next day, they sent an email to my fiance, not me, telling her that they had charged my card for the remainder of our two-week stay "according to the owner's arrangement with me." THERE WAS NO ARRANGEMENT! Essentially, after lying to us over and over, this place stole from us by charging me for the entire stay. There are many beautiful and accomodating places in the Tuscany Valley and I sincererly suggest you find another place unless you enjoy "roughing it", being lied to and then have your funds stolen from you.
