This hotel had a great location, great staff who were always willing to help. It was quite clean and well maintained. The breakfast that was included was very nice and had a lot of choice.

I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

Beautiful hotel with its own garden behind the hotel. The hotel has an interesting history. The breakfast was excellent We throughly enjoyed our time at the Goldenes Kreuz. The staff was very friendly and professional. We will definitely return.

While this hotel is in a great location in Bressanone and the town is lovely, it did not have a very good feel about it. It is an old rambling hotel where they seem to save electricity by having some parts in complete darkness (and no light switch to be found). The staff were not very welcoming and seemed a little creepy. We had a family suite of two rooms but they were very tired and not very clean. We would love to go back to Bressanone but would stay at a different hotel next time.

We stayed at Goldenes Kreuz for one week during ski season, and enjoyed conscientious service from the hotel's management and staff. The guest rooms were of varying sizes but ours was a quite large corner room with a balcony and large bathtub, a work-desk, plus an extra bed. The water pressure in the shower was excellent, and the housekeeping staff kept everything spotless. The hotel building itself is quite old, dating back to 15th century, and is a museum of sorts, with beautiful antiques and a dungeon-like wine cellar, of which the hotel manager proudly gives very interesting tours. We enjoyed delicious buffet breakfasts and 4-course dinners daily. There was no choice offered on the dinner entrees, however the kitchen would prepare an option for guests making specific requests. The desserts were especially tasty. Goldenes Kreuz is conveniently located close to the many interesting sites in Bressanone, and a block away from the free ski shuttle.
