My mother and I stayed here a few years ago--it was our first trip to Europe so we weren't sure what to expect. Now that I've traveled more extensively throughout Italy and Austria, I know that this place is a gem. The people at the front desk were courteous and directed us wherever we needed to go, the beds were comfortable, the bathrooms modern and clean, and we happened to have a room with a marvelous wrap-around balcony that provided a view of the town of Bressanone. Its almost disappointing visiting other places after staying at this hotel--they really set a standard.

Spent four days at this hotel in late Spring. It's near the confluence of two rivers and after an unusuall heavy rainfall the raging waters were a dramatic sight.

Service in the hotel was top-notch. Breakfast was bountiful. The nearby town is a short walk across a bridge. There is a bookstore in the town that carries many English-language books/publications.
A walking tour of the city points out its attractive architecture.

Bressanone is near a freeway exit so it's possible to day-trip to nearby locations and return easily at night to the hotel.

The hotel has a locked/guarded parking area. It also has an indoor swimming pool at a warm temperature. Ask for a room facing the back of the hotel although the streetside isn't bad.
