This placed pretty convenient close to the central station. To me its a little too fra from the historic city center. As a business hotel you would expect them to have internet, which they dont. All they can offer is an expensive internet connection from the lobby. Did not try the restaurant other than breakfast which was ok, and nothing more. Would I stay there again - dont think so.

The hotel location was convenient to the station, and generally modern/clean, but the sour attitude of the desk staff never went away during our entire stay. The hotel management should do something about either their hiring policy or the name of the hotel. Perhaps the "We will serve you when we feel like it hotel" would be a better name.

We have just returned from 5 days in Brescia and the stay at this hotel was absolutely excellent. The location was ideal as we used trains, taxis and bus to get around and all three are just across the road. Although a busy road it is treelined and we had a side room so it was quiet with the window closed and not too noisy with the window open. We found we were among predominately business people and the staff were very efficient and helpful. The hotel was spotless and the bedding was changed every day. After a busy day we were happy to eat in the hotel at night and the restaurant was excellent. Unfortunately we did not feel very safe in the vicinity of the hotel at night but as we were happy to stay in the hotel this did not spoil our stay. Maybe we were just a little paranoid. Brescia old town is 10 minutes walk away and the sites and shops are very Italian. We enjoyed being in a city which was not all tourists and we got a good idea if the Italian way of life. Also the prices of food in the numerous cafes was half the price of Lake Garda, pleasant surprise.

Ideally situated for rail station and bus stations, including airport bus from Bergamo, and therefore offers great prospects for day trips. The immediate area isn't particularly attractive at night, and if you're not using the buses it's at least a ten minute walk to major tourist areas, though the various walking routes are through reasonably attractive districts. But the hotel restaurant is excellent - high quality food, friendly service and good value, with apparently regular changes in the menu (though we only ate there once). Primarily a business hotel, with modern rooms of good size and quality. The television was the biggest we've ever come across in a hotel (not that we ever spend much more than this on hotel accommodation). Breakfast is the standard Jolly hotels 'as much as you can eat' self-service breakfast offering a wide choice of cold foods plus hottish bacon, egg and sausages. Overall a very good choice if you like convenience, comfort and efficiency, but perhaps not if you're looking for some historical jewel with idiosyncratic staff and bad drains.
