I visited the Hotel for two nights and I was a little bit disappointed. Very short and hard bed, bad picture of the old TV set. Dark bathroom with a very small shower box.
The breakfast was ok, but you had to pay extra charges if you wanted an egg, e.g.
Would consider to look for another hotel if I will go to Brescia again.
Everything about this hotel was great: The staff was helpful and friendly. The lobby is a very comfortable place to meet people and includes a bar. The breakfast buffet, included with the room, was as nice as they come. There is a nice pool with a lifeguard. The grounds are pretty and there is both a second bar, a restaurant, a pizzeria, and other shops. Our room was spacious, modern, tasteful, and comfortable with separate alcoves for the beds. The overall ambience is that of a modern business hotel, but there were some elegant furnishings, including Persian carpets. There is free, wired Internet access in the room. The only cons were that the shower drained somewhat slowly, the airconditioner could have been a bit colder (though it was still able to keep up satsifactorily with an exceptionally hot July), and the location is close to the University but a couple of miles from the center of the city. I am very critical and have written quite a few reviews; this is only my second five star ranking.
