Hotel was quite comfortable. The staff were very helpful. The walls were a little thin though.

Just returned from a 5 night stay at the Palladio on business.
The hotel is average, I got a good rate, so was pleased with my stay but had I paid rack rate, I would possibly be a little miffed.
But, the rooms are large, so are the bathrooms, the hotel is pretty central and the breakfast is actually better than most on offer in the area, i.e. fresh fruit, rolls and wholemeal bread, cereals, eggs, etc. Even cooked breakfast at an extra charge.
As pointed out in earlier reviews, the place lacks caracter, but I have stayed in 3 or 4 different hotels in Bassano over the years on business and Palladio is so far my favourite.
All in all most hotels in the area are boring, the same type of furniture, bed spread, carpet, so what makes this a cut above the rest is the size of the room and the breakfast.

Stayed one night during biking trip in Veneto. We found hotel to be modern but totally lacking character and faceless for such a beautiful town as Bassano. The only appealing touch there was a bouquet of fresh roses on the front desk (I believe from flower beds in front of the hotel). They also had full size bottles of Italian vines in the rooms but the whole atmosphere did not inspire to seat there for any pleasurable and relaxing drinking.
However, our room was clean and quite. The front desk attendant was helpful and fun, gave us a nice choice of dinner recommendations in town.
Breakfast buffer was just OK and included some uneventfully standard ham, cheese, breads, cakes, fruits. But yogurts were of very good quality.
Conclusion: ok as a drive trough hotel but I would look for more
character in this pretty town.
