I was traveling alone with my daughter at 13 year.
The hotel its self was quit boring. You need a car for sure, as the hotel is in the middle of no where. You can not see the sea from the hotel as we expected, the sea is about 5 km from there. What you see on the photos is a small bay, and the hotel look much more nice on the photos then it is for real.
There is not much going on in the small towns around at this time at the year, Porto Rotondo and Porto Creco ect., the towns seems to be death, and most shops a closed, strange enough as many of the hotels was full and there was allot of tourists around.
The internet was not working at the lobby in whole period we was there, and when i ask the staff to push for getting it to work, they seems to dont care.
The pool was freezing cold, and there are no pool-bar or service.
Breakf. buffet was the same every morning and they had only white bread and it was very dry. They could not make a long drink in the bar! And it seems to be a problem to order only one glass of wine for dinner, they wanted to serve only a whole bottle.
If you like food and would like to taste some specialitys of the island, then dont take the half board as we did, we had dinner there every evening, it was okay but nothing special.
The hotel was clean but rooms quit small. Beds and especially the pillows was very hard.
My advice, go somewhere else at this time of year ;-) or if you go to Sardinia at this time of the year, book a hotel near a big town.
