The Club Hotel is a lovely hotel in the beautiful village of Baia Sardinia. This was the third time we visited the Club and each time has been equally as nice. The rooms are clean, tidy and functional. I recommend you e-mail the hotel before arrival and request a room on a higher floor (there are 3)as you will more than likely have a better balcony.
The hotel itself is set at the western end of the village with its sister hotel, the Bisaccia at the eastern end. The hotel has two restaurants: The Bouganville which is the main hotel restaurant which serves an array of local specialties as well as international cusine. The Casablanca is reportedly one of the best gourmet restaurants on the island and indeed lives up to its name. The waiting staff in both restaurants are very friendlyand able to converse well in English, French and German. They do respond well to any efforts to have a go at speaking Italian.
The hotel has no swimming pool(you can use the seawater one at the Bisaccia)but does have a large private beach about 400m along the headland. This is beside a small lagoon reserved for patrons use. A day trip on the Bisaccia's launch is highly recommended although make sure you go with a friend as the skipper speaks limited english.
The little piazza in the middle of the village itself is reasonably lively during the day but comes to life at night with everyone enjoying their evening stroll. It's really nice to sit and have a cold beer or glass of wine and watch the world go by.
All in all, I would recommend the Club Hotel for a peaceful, charming holiday in a quiet surround.

This is more like a 2-3 star hotel and we were shocked to find that it was given a 4 star rating. The images do not portray the hotel accurately at all. The room we were given at 220 Euros per night was horrible. There was mold in the shower, broken tiles on the floor, broken bathroom door, uncomfortable beds, old bed linens, creaky furniture, tiny space, etc. The manager was rude and unhelpful and in the end we left to go to the Hotel Cervo in Porto Cervo which was lovely.
