Better than average size room and extremely clean. Reasonable rate for WiFi. Best restaurant in town... Do not miss it.

We spent 1 night here and were overall pleased with our stay. The staff aren't overly friendly but certainly helpful and polite. The room (including the bathroom) was reasonably spacious, quiet, clean and comfortable. It's not quite a 4-star standard room -- I think the hotel gets its rating because of the facilities it provides (gym, restaurant, business facilities etc.), but comfortable enough. Our room even had a view into the historic centre of Arezzo. We liked the fact that parking was free.

For a hotel which promotes itself so heavily as a business hotel, it was a little disappointing having to pay for Wifi internet, but that's only a minor complaint. The location was excellent for us -- easy to find and very close to the historic centre. The restaurant was ok -- reasonably priced, impeccable service and average food (don't expect trattoria style comfort food -- its nothing special). Breakfast was outstanding -- perfect selection of pastries, meats, cheese, cereals, yoghurt, fruit etc. Overall, pretty good value for money and we'd definitely stay there again.

Not being able to speak the language was not a problem because there was alway someone to help. Not all hotels are "air conditioned" in Italy but Minerva Hotel was working in fine fashion during some of the hotest days on record. The restraurant was the crown jewel and servise was better than most restraurant. Great food,

Hotel Minerva is another one of those European hotels located in a small town which has a limited choice of accommodation. I have absolutely no complaints with this hotel it was clean, comfortable and easy to find as it is located on the main road into the historical centre of Arezzo. It had all the usual amenities as well as a large car park which was great if (like us) you’re on a driving holiday, as well as a great breakfast. My only point and I must stress its not a complaint is that like so many other hotels we stayed in during our time in Tuscany is that it was looking a little on the dated side, carpets, pictures, curtains etc all very 80’s.
