I last visited this hotel about 18 months ago and had a few gripes about the place, having just stayed there I was amazed at the improvements in service. The hotel is just outside Vicenza and offers free parking, free internet access, 200 metres from the railway station. Rooms were a good size, very clean, can be a little noisy with the window open but close it and you don't hear a sound. Very good choice of breakfast with a coffee of your choice. If you fancy going out for a drink, try the bar at the local station 2a Classe cafe excellent. There is also a good restaurant just by the station which is paced with locals. Well worth a stopover here if you are around the area.

The hotel is a bit distant from town but it's not a problem if you are traveling by a car. In that case getting around is quite easy, plus there is a free parking right in front of the hotel. We stayed here for one night, on our way from Venice to Verona. We arrived after 8pm and the near by taverna was closed, so we had no choice but to eat at the restaurant of the hotel. The food was good, but overpriced.
The hotel is clean, the rooms are large enough, and the prices are great. If you are on a road trip and want a good hotel at a reasonable price, this is a place to stay!

We stayed one night in this renovated hotel. They did a beautiful job on the lobby and rooms, although the hallways are a still old. The only bad point is the single small elevator which is shared by guests and staff. It only holds two people with luggage, or four without. There was a charge for WiFi, but it was free in the lobby and they even had a printer you could use with their PC.

When our friends suggested we eat in the restaurant, I was a bit dubious. What a surprise. The meal was outstanding and service impeccable. When our requested white wine wasn't available the wine steward recommended a local one that was only 8 euros and amazing. Better than something 2 or 3 times the price. The meal was beautifully presented but not fussed over. The waiter brought a free rice salad which was delicious. And our entrees were perfect. We even had dessert.

We were heading for Umbria and we stopped over here between picking the car up in Munich and driving to our hotel in Perugia. We arrived on a Sunday late afternoon. We arrived on the 28th August. The Concierge was a bit surly-and he was the bar tender later that night at the American Bar in the hotel, and he was the same then too. The Concierge in the morning was much better. Our room was 303. Ok size and bathroom. Got the standard bathroom supplies and there was also a mini bar. Bed good size. Web available in room. A/c average. Was very quiet in the room and nice a dark for someone with jet lag. Breakfast was fantastic and the service in the breakfast room was great. We had a place to park our car out the front. Restarant not open on Sunday nights and neither was much else around. We ended up going to the McDonalds up the road-as did most of the region!!!! Very busy. Not a lot else in this town, but this hotel close off the autobahn so good for stop over. Price reasonable too.Booked online. No trouble at all finding the hotel.
