Our third stay at this hotel. A gem in a gem of a city. Ask for a Panorama overlooking the beach, NOT the hill, as other reviewer suggeasted - no idea why they would. Open the window, hear the waves, enjoy their beach, and dine half board with excellent service, and the food is the best. Pasty chef unbelievably good. My family has been staying in Alassio for 40 years, but not this hotel. Not inexpensive but worth it.

Beautiful and well equipped clean rooms. Sea-front, cross a small street to reach hotel's private beach. (Be sure to ask for a Panorama room, "Colline" rooms overlook the back) Friendly and discrete service, children very welcome, dogs accepted. Safe (and free of charge) valet parking. Excellent location, walking distance from old city center and shopping. We stayed for 3 nights and have been before, both with and without our small children. Were able to use the beach from Easter until mid-October. Indoor swimmingpool. Fitness equipment in basement room. The beach is wonderful for esrly-morning jogging. The breakfast is Buffet-form, very complete for Italian standards. We preferred to eat lunch and dinner out of the hotel, lots of tasty and cheap possibilities nearby.
