Been twice to Mandranova and we've enjoyed both times, great rooms, really excellent food, friendly hosts; I would whole heartedly recommend this place if you're looking for an 'upper end' place to stay in Sicily.

I will say though that you have to be careful of your budget as eating there everyday can get very expensive, just something to be aware of.

One is welcomed graciously by hosts Giuseppe and Silvia. I was there during the olive harvest so got to see the pressing. Wonderful. I had a huge beautiful room in the newest section with a nice terrace overlooking the gardens and olive groves. Silvia's cooking is delicious and with the communal seating you get to meet lots of interesting people. This is my second visit here and I will be back again.

Stayed here with three friends for three nights while touring Sicily. The grounds, rooms, main house (where the lounges and dining rooms are located), olive and citrus groves are all amazingly beautiful and tranquil. The olives were being harvested and the olive oil presses were going, lending a wonderful smell of fresh olives to the breeze. The owners, Silvia and Giuseppe, are friendly and accommodating. This is the place to stay while visiting the Valle dei Templi outside Agrigento!

We were a bit unsure of this property,after reading the less glowing reviews of other travellers.
Pleased to say that Mandranova was a pleasant and lovely as we had hoped for.
Lovely, large rooms, attention to detail and very welcoming owners.
Diner was very good with very reasonably priced wine. Altough the owners clearly state it is a working farm and not a hotel, we found it as good as the previous 4star hotel we stayed in.
Only areas for improvement: no wifi and a very small shower.
