We are all animal lovers and none of their male dogs were "fixed". They let them go off and have their fun getting stray females pregnant. And than those poor pups either starve to death or worse(yes folks that is the life of a stray). .We were all upset by this as the owners are smart people who obviously care more about growing their Olive Oil business than taking care of their dog family and B&B.
The dinners were just average and that is being generous (no farm to table here except for the Olive Oil which we all raved about as it was amazing) the coffee was pretty bad, the breakfasts ok, the servers downright ignorant and the cleaning staff should all be fired. The Olive grove and grounds are lovely but the pool is tiny and the rooms although generous in size lacked many basic things that I found in other hotels in Sicily. I felt like the owners were being quite stingy....one bar of soap, no tissues nor shampoo. No soap rack, no towel holder, no hooks in the bathroom, towels were not of no great quality, room was looking worn etc. We would not go back but I don't regret our stay there...but two nights would have been more than enough!
