It even had a Sicilian Basil! Located on the outskirts of Agrigento in a semi industrial area. Our room overlooked the McDonalds carpark and entrance. The place was tired and needed a refurb. Appeared to be the sort of place sales reps would use for convenience. The room safe was U/S. We went to the bar in the foyer and waited to be served for several minutes. I rang the bell on the reception desk and was immediately confronted by "Basil" from the office who glared at me and waved his arms and told me someone was coming. Apparently other people in thebar had rung the bell just before we left the lift. The bar man appeared and proceeded to clean and tidy the bar. My wife wanted a cocktail, we tried several from the list provided by the barman but he did not have all the ingredients for the ones we chose. We settled for a beer and Sprite with a slice of lemon. The bill was 10 euro, I offered a 20 euro note and had to wait while he left the bar to find "Basil" to get change. Other than "Basil" the rest of the staff were OK.
