“Not worth any money”

Pluses only in normal numbers and the attentive personnel at restaurant.
Minuses - small pool with primitive and out of hydromassage date, bad cleaning in rooms, a food at restaurant wasn't pleasant. Paid internet in the room started to work only after threat to pass to other hotel. I like Italian kitchen very much, but in hotel the meal was insipid. The inattentive personnel on reception, not too good place. I don't recommend the given hotel.

We wish to thank for all comments as every detail that can improve our hospitality is very precious for us.

Regarding the issue about wi-fi connection, we are aware that when the guest swithched on the receiver button on her computer, it all worked very well. That's why we believe that our Wi-Fi connection was not the real problem.

On the other side, we regret the disappointment about our reception staff but even in that case, the discussion was referred to a particular misunderstanding: the guest was willing to pay the price for a collective transfer to Venice Airport while she requested us for a private transfer which costs 50 € more.

We definitely regret that the quality of our restaurant was not appreciated by the guest but we feel encouraged by the large numbers of positive comments we receive every day, even in this site, referring the high level quality of our restaurant and his staff.

“Lovely place to relax”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 August 2010

We stayed here for two nights in July during a trip in Veneto. First of all, this is a old hotel which have been remodeling and are still not finished (july 2010). We got a very good rate for two nights with breakfast (55 Eur pr night) and that was the main reason we choosed to stay at this hotel.

The lobby area, bar and restaurant are totally new and looks very nice. Rooms are partly fixed, still it looks nice and feels clean. Some stainy carpets on the floor in the stairs and corridors, but thats probaply going to be fixed i hope. Rooms are quite big and most also have a small balcony. Bathroom are fairly big and clean, but our shower had a really ugly shower curtain..

Breakfast was very nice, a rich buffet with hot food (sausages, bacon, scrambled eggs) and cold cheese and meats. Lots of dryed and fresh fruit and pastrys. We had dinner in the restauran one evening. This were aslo a rich buffet with tasty food. Great staff at the restaurant!

We didnt try any of the spa treatment, we only used the swimmingpools. One indoor and one outdoor pool. Outdoor pool have some bubbles and a tiny waterfall. Nice garden around the pool with sunbeds. The use of the pools had an additional fee you pay when checking out.

The hotel have a free parking behind the hotel.

The Abano Terme is not a beautiful town, but at eveing there are a lot of eldery people walking in the main street. Everyone seemed to have a good time.

This was a good hotel for relaxing a few days. Maybe take a walk in the nearby hills or take a daytrip to Padova.

“Great lobby (new), just decent rooms and other areas”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 September 2009

The hotel on the web looks great: absolutelly design, chic, modern. When you arrive, it is not quite. The reception/lobby/bar/restaurant have, in fact, been redone and look absolutely gorgeous. Unfortunatelly, the rooms have just been slightly redone, so they do not look as great at all, quite worn and outdated; no design, no flat TV, sky TV to be seen with a decoder trhown on top of the TV, sheets and towels not really new. Other parts of the hotel also do not look to good.

Breakfast was good, not huge selection, but, in general, everything was very good quality.

Staff was friendly.

Use of pools has to be paid for, but being termal pools the price (19 euro per person for the whole stay) seems reasanable.

“Great time at Adriatico”

Booked this hotel online through Venere. Great hotel, nice location, quiet, comfortable, nice view, spacious rooms. Absolutely delicious food - breakfast and dinner! Great host in the dining room - a man with extensive experience in hospitality and oh so professional. Staff members are very nice and you're greeted with a smile. Had a great massage there as well.
Would definitely recommend this place.
