Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here...We were very impressed with the hotel itself as far as cleanliness. Food was very nicely presented although head waiter seemed a bit on the cranky side. The large pool area was quite enjoyable with plenty of stations to enjoy the jets for different areas of the body although some customers tended to hog the favourite spots. Staff were pleasant and were quite professional about their jobs. We enjoyed the junior suite immensely with its huge double room, lovely furnishings and super clean modern bathroom with tub, shower and bidet. The location is excellent for strolling in the evenings after dinner. There was usually beautiful orchestra music being played in the evening in the mall. Streets were spotlessly clean. The setting is very classy and the people were very well dressed. Pack your best clothes and you will definitely not feel overdressed......loved the hotel and area.

Nice Hotel clean and friendly in a more modernly developed town. The natural hot thermal springs waters surrounding the Abano Terme , Padua (Padova ) area are piped into the hotel's pools. During one of my walks through Abano Terme I entered a market asked for directions to a pharmacy in my broken italian with heavy american accent . The clerk asked me where I was from and which hotel I was at . When I told him the Palace Hotel Meggoriato he looked at me and asked if my doctor sent me there because apparently elderly Europeans go there for therapy for various ailments. That explains why we were the youngest guests at that hotel. Otherwise it was a very pleasant stay and quite economical.
