“Great hotel, location not too bad”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 November 2010

We stayed here in March 2009 and booked a Quick Sleep room. What a great concept! When we first walked into our room, we laughed, it was SO small. But at the same time, it was all we needed. It was clean as a whistle. The bathrooms were great, clean, lockable shower (bathroom was shared). We slept fine there but I know what a past reviewer means about the springy doors slamming shut.
We ate dinner one night there and it was quite yummy and the red wine too.
Breakfast was adequate.
The train stop is only a 2-minute walk up the road and easily accessible.
There is a supermarket down the opposite direction to the train station which is good for stocking up.
Connect Hotel used to be a hospital so reception was a ward desk, the lift is big enough to fit 2 stretchers! It was great, we really enjoyed it here and in Stockholm.
Value for money was good too, for Scandanavia - our Quick Sleep room worked out to be about $70 AUD per night.
Book to go to the icebar in the city, it's fantastic.

“good choice for that price”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 October 2010

The hotel is very nice and modern. The rooms are quite small, but enough. There is a nice bathroom inside and a TV. The brekfest in the morning was also very nice. The staff was friendly and helpfull. Just remeber to book the room with windows! As there are also rooms that do not have them. The best thing is the connection with the city centre which takes no more then 10 minutes.

great hotel, just outside city center. Just 3 stops with commuter train.

Nice, clean rooms. Simple but sufficient breakfast. Free coffee, tea. Friendly personnel.

Great for a (longer) weekend trip to Swedens Capital!

“Quick sleep concept is great...if you CAN sleep!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 May 2010

This hotel is situated 3 commuter train stops from Stockholm C, which is is ideal! It is in a small town of Älvsjö. It was a bit tricky to find because the street it was on changes names but we managed. it is not more than a 5 minute from from the hotel's entrance.

The staff was ok, nothing to praise or to be annoyed with. In other words, meh. I have stayed in hotels where the staff really make the trip. We had a quick sleep room because we were only staying one night and they are brilliant! It's almost like a Japanese capsule hotel! My husband could basically reach from one wall to the other. This is all you need if you are seeing the city and doing other things. If the your hotel is a place to purely sleep, this is for you.

You share a toilet and a shower, which at first did not put me off because usually you have a couple of toilets a shower rooms to use. Not in this case and I think this is a deal breaker for me for next time. There is only one toilet for two corridors and the shower is also in the toilet, a typically Scandinavia do. You get a towel but no shampoo or soap. There is a multifunctional soap in the toilet for all that. I did not shower, sorry fellow train passengers!

Another problem was the level of noise, mostly the doors and snoring! I could hear everything my neighbor was doing and he was snoring! I had to put my headphones on to sleep. The doors of the rooms also have a spring shutting system which makes them shut hard and very nosily!

You also get a free Swedish buffet style breakfast, this is a plus for the budget traveler.
