I stayed here for only one night, for a businees travel stop. The hotel was booked by my company and I got a very large room (think a suite): the room was huge size and so the bathroom, everything spotless. I arrived very late during the night, so I phone to them and they left my supper in my room. The staff is very kind, efficient (one of the best I ever experienced for business travel) and speak english fluently (I was with an english speaker colleague). Very large choice and good quality for the breakfast.
Unfortunately I had no time to visit Alessandria ...

I have stayed in this hotel for one night only - passing through for business. The reception, as well as all the service attitude in this place is clearly above average. We felt very welcome here.

My room was very spacious although not very modern, but still comfortable - also with a spacious, well equiped bathroom.

The best part of the hotel is actually its restaurant, where you can get an excellent impression of regional cuisine. I can recommend eating here very warmly! Breakfast was above my expectation too with a large choice to pick from...

We stayed here for two nights on a driving trip through France and Italy.

The hotel is 4 star, excellent facilities and well presented.
Situated in a very nice town, within easy reach of the Italian Riviera.

The hotel staff spoke good English, and Parking (12€) was available round the corner. The room was large and comfortable, very good bathroom and minibar/TV.

Alessandria itself is a large town, with much history and large ornate buildings you become used to finding around corners in most parts of Italy.

An excellent base for exploring, we drove to the coast, visited the wonderful caves at Toirano- and took the train to Genoa- from the very close train station.

At night, the town is safe and pleasant to work around- though finding a restaurant to eat in was difficult,. The hotel has it's own a la carte restaurant- but if you are looking for a choice- you are left with cafe-bars and pizza.
There is an EXCELLENT pizza parlour a few doors away- (Planet Pizza) which does the freshest cooked pizza. Proper flame grilled and very good service.

Breakfast is the usual continental, but served very well- with a large variety of products and very good tea!

A very pleasant, 4 star hotel- which does what it says- good service, nice surroundings and a good base for exploring. Highly recommended and reasonable rates (€110 a night)

Just had a one night stay as part of a wine tour of Italy and France. Arrived too late to see anything at all of the city.

Hotel was very good, clean and comfortable throughout. Staff were really friendly without being overbearing and very efficient.

The group ate in the hotel and there was another large party also dining but the staff coped exceptionally well. The presentation and quality was first rate. Breakfast was a bit of a disappointment as we were headed off into a secondary dining room that had not got the variety that the main dining room enjoyed. So some of the party were well satisfied by what they enjoyed whilst others were disappointed ( some did make the foray into the main breakfast room). To be fair that may well have been the agreement with the hotel and the tour operator.

Can't comment on suitability for access to the city centre as I have no concept as to where the hotel is situated in realtion the to manin city centre activity.
