My girlfriend and I drove to spend 2 nights at a spa for some well deserved relaxation. This hotel was suggested to us by a friend.
The hotel itself is nice, the room we got was large and the bed quite wide.
The restaurant was nice, but very limited in its menu.
There were four things that I didn't like and which caused us to leave the next day:
1. The lady at the desk was not pleasant. I found her very unhelpful and rather uninterested in the customers. She had a 'Well what do you want me to do about it' attitude.
2. The spa in winter... isn't really a spa. It's limited to a jacuzzi and two showers. There is an outdoor swimming pool that appears to have some hydrotherapy jets, but this was closed.
3. We were not advised when booking that a massage needed to be reserved in advance, so we were not able to have one the day we arrived.
4. The first day we arrived, we decided to use the 'spa'. We were told to wait 30 minutes, which we did, and when we arrived the water was freezing. 40 minutes and some complaining later, it was still freezing so we just went back to our room. To use the 'spa' (jacuzzi and 2 showers) would have cost us 35 euro EACH.
So, my conclusion is that going to this hotel for the Spa during the winter period is not a good idea. Otherwise, it should be fine.
