We had booked over the Christmas period, in to a 5 star hotel a couple of hundred yards up the road from the Two Mills Premier Inn, at a cost of £200.00 per night.
Our stay was nothing short of awful and on Christmas day afternoon we left the 5 star hotel, having no idea where we would stay Christmas night.
We drove a short way and pulled in to the Premier Inn, this would be around 4.30pm, by which time we had not eaten since breakfast at the "5 star" hotel.
We were greeted promptly by a friendly member of staff and we asked if they had a room available, the young man called for the gentleman who was clearly a Manager/Supervisor, who checked their systems and yes thank goodness a room was free.
We then asked if food was available and were told yes, shown to a seat and guided to the Carvery, this was within 5 minutes of arrival, how grateful we were.
The staff were lovely it was late on Christmas day they had been working all day and still had smiles and cheer. We cannot thank them enough, especially the Supervisor/Manager who in our minds should be head hunted by the 5 star hotel, that is if they want to provide excellent Customer Service.
