We stayed in a tent by the river, and by tent, I mean luxury tent. It had a nice fridge always filled with cold drinks, and a fan too, but it was never needed at night as its so close to the ocean that it is nice and cool.
The bed is comfortable, with a sort of mosquito net around it, but I didn't get bit once (but my GF did).
The bathroom is clean with a nice hot shower. There is power to charge your devices if you ever need to, and there is free wifi in the restaurant area.
Food here is good, but there are other places nearby to eat too.
The best thing is, this is likely on the best beach in Goa. Nothing like Calangute, Baga etc with loads of vendors and massive amounts of people burning themselves in the sun. This was pure beauty, check out my pics and have a look. If you want to be totally alone, you can. Stunning.
Also, I did spend some time meditating on the pier (each tent has one) looking onto the river. The river is fast moving and didn't see any mosquitos, but is not suitable for swimming.
The staff here are great, and Barbara especially couldn't do enough for us - from sorting taxis to helping us with local info.
I would say if you have 2 weeks in Goa, go to somewhere more populated in the first week, then come here to decompress before you go back to real life.
Just. Pure. Bliss.
Thanks Mark, Barbara and team for a PERFECT time.
