We Stayed at Broomhill Manor in the Nightingale Property from the 8th to 15th October. Broomhill is a lovely country estate with well maintained gardens and grounds, very peaceful to look at and be in. The Cottages are comfortable with all the utilities you could need, we particularly enjoyed the hot tub at night looking up at the stars with some wine and cocktails!. Beds are comfortable and kitchen is well equiped.

Alan and Linda are friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. Bude is a 5 minute drive away or bus journey. Stratton has an excellent pub The Tree Inn which Alan recommended to us and it was fantastic.

Broomhill has a tropical swimming pool, Jacuzzi and Sauna. The pool area is very relaxing and even has a small bar and snooker room above it.

I would recommend Broomhill Manor and definately book a cottage with a hot tub if you can as you have a lovely outside space for your space.

Totally brilliant week from 16 July. The great facilities and tremendous hospitality on offer here enabled us to enjoy oursleves despite slightly inclement weather. Our daughter loved the horse riding, especially the evening beach ride, we loved the country walks from the cottage, the personal hot tub, the tennis, the indoor and outdoor pools, the list is endless... The cottage was well equipped and tastefully appointed enabling us to dine extremely well and fresh local produce including Port Issaac fish area all available in Bude.

It must be good. We (wife and I,daughter and grandaughter) intend going to Broomhill every year until we drop!!! Facilities are excellent, staff great and it is very central for Cornwall and Devon excursions. Bude( just down the road ) is a busy, bustling little town with lots of shops and character to suit everyone. Hannah, my grandaughter, keeps nagging me to say how 'excellent and friendly ' the horse riding is. Her favourite pony is Misprint and Ellie is a great friend to all of us - we love her to bits! Can't wait to get back on Oct 1st. - just over 6 weeks to go. Alan - please keep the heating on in the outdoor swimming pool. Hannah and I intend swimming in it come rain or shine! See you soon.
