It must be good. We (wife and I,daughter and grandaughter) intend going to Broomhill every year until we drop!!! Facilities are excellent, staff great and it is very central for Cornwall and Devon excursions. Bude( just down the road ) is a busy, bustling little town with lots of shops and character to suit everyone. Hannah, my grandaughter, keeps nagging me to say how 'excellent and friendly ' the horse riding is. Her favourite pony is Misprint and Ellie is a great friend to all of us - we love her to bits! Can't wait to get back on Oct 1st. - just over 6 weeks to go. Alan - please keep the heating on in the outdoor swimming pool. Hannah and I intend swimming in it come rain or shine! See you soon.

Most relaxing family holiday for years. Spotlessly clean and fabulous grounds. Never slept so well away from home, beds brilliant.Children adored the pool and the teenager ( and some of the adults ) adored the snooker table . Weather was glorious, which always helps but I think we would have coped at Broomhill Manor even if the weather had let us down.

As this was rated a 5 star accommodation, the cottage was VERY basic, compared to other cottages we have stayed in elsewhere. The facilities were good, horse riding excellent and surroundings beautiful. Near to Bude, which is lovely. However, for us as a family, there was just something missing to make it a special stay, compared to how it is marketed and the price charged compared to other holidays we have had. We feel on the whole it is slightly over-rated and we would not return, but seek other 5 star cottage holidays. Also, beware, the indoor pool has very abrasive flooring and ripped our 3 childrens feel to shreds.
