What a beautiful place to stay, and so welcoming. Lovely big bed and spacious room. En suite bathroom. Very clean. Lounge area outside the rooms, with tea making facilities and home made cake, also a warm, sunny conservatory with comfy chairs. Massive cooked breakfast in the morning. Heated swimming pool too. Shame we were only there 1 night. Would recommend to anyone.

Our trip to Tassie was to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary which included 3 nights at 'Undine'. I didn't tell my wife what to expect so she was amazed by the colonial character of the place. The room was perfect and the hosts terrific. Trish and Rocco were more than helpful with local knowledge and they made sure we had an awesome stay. We'll be back.

Undine retains its cosy and friendly atmosphere (I stayed here twice before about 20 years ago!) and its olde worlde charm is not jaded. It is very clean and comfortable and the breakfasts are hearty: enough to keep you going when you are out sightseeing all day! Returning to peace in the evenings may not be everyone's cuppa...but that and the homemade treats accompanying it are just what I needed at the end of the day.

A very comfortable B&B in a unique old house, with tastefully decorated, cosy, and very clean rooms. Most importantly, the hosts were incredibly welcoming, with Trish giving us really helpful local tips over breakfast (which is hosted in the family kitchen, after the kids head off to school) which got us looking forward to our day of sightseeing despite the incessant rain while we were there!

A bit far out of central Hobart, so a car is probably needed to see the city itself, but very close to MONA - walking distance (but we have to admit we drove to avoid the drizzle). Also within easy driving distance of North Hobart for a wide range of restaurants. We took the even easier option and found a nearby fish and chip shop for dinner.
