“Fabulous beach and restaurant!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 February 2012

We did not stay at this resor but we visited for sundowners and dinner on the beach. It was superb. Whle not the greatest swimming beach (shallow and a little weedy) it is beautiful, deserted and the sunset is spectacular. The staff welcomed us wtih open arms, set us a gorgeous table on the beach for dinner, and promptly served us a delicious meal. It was a little more spendy than usual in Thailand, but the atmosphere and awesome presentation more than justified the extra dollars. Truly and evening to cherish!

Room Tip: The beachfront villas are very private, each with their own enclosed garden

“A State of Pleasure and Luxury”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 February 2012

At our our arrival we were kindly welcomed by Mr Jaras and Mr Plodwong,
The staff right away offer their availability in making our staying confortable and nice,
the room are spacious, well designed and clean, with Jacuzzi bath!
The resort is located in the south west part of the island, also knows as the Virgin Coast, largely unspoiled and with breath taking beaches..
A great place to enjoy Thai hospitality and relaxing time..

“Perfect place to unwind”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 February 2012

We spent 5 nights at the resort and completely enjoyed. The staff were always very friendly, consistently ensuring that we were comfortable and always delivering on our requests. The beach was absolutely amazing and the large swimming pool allowed the adults to relax at one end and the kids to play at the other. We stayed in a garden villa that had lots of privacy with our own bungalow and outdoor spa. The resort is on the quiet side of the island which was perfect for us, really wanting somewhere to unwind and relax without crowds. We did feel the need to explore a little so the front desk organised a hire car with pickup and drop off at the resort. It took about 40 minutes to drive to Lamai and we found this the perfect way to get around the island for a day trip with the family. The front desk also organised a snorkelling day trip for us, again with pickup and drop off at the resort. There was some construction work going on at the resort next door with some noise during the day but this was very minimal and didn't really impact on our time at the resort.

“Loved it!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 January 2012

Had a really relaxing stay for 4 nights. Yes, it is very quiet but this is just what we were after. The staff were lovely, very friendly. I'm not sure why some of the other reviews have commented on the rooms being dated as I did not find this was the case. Jacuzzi bath was great, we found if you put a wash bag under where the water comes out it prevented the water going onto the floor.
We stayed on the first floor and the views were great from the balcony.
Pool and garden areas are lovely. I thought the beach was very nice too, sea was clean and other than shells and a small amount of sea weed there wasn't any rubbish and the beach was very clean. Loved having a cocktail on the beach and watching the sunset.

Yes I agree don't stay here if you are looking for a resort like Chaweng. But if you are looking for something quiet, romantic and are happy to eat in the hotel then I would definately recommend it and would love to go back.

Intercontinental was about to open next door.

Prices were reasonable, we spent about £50 a day here for all meals and drinks for two people. Food and drinks were good. Bartender at the pool bar makes the best mojitos! There is a happy hour from 5pm until 6.30pm each day.

Room Tip: Sunset jacuzzi rooms have the best view, I think first floor is the best location as you have the vi...

“Good hotel, great beach , for people who wants to relax in front a very nice beach and sunset”

The hotel is very good, not luxurius, but clean, nice and agreable. The only negative point for me, is it is very far from Chaweng, and far from the piers to go to angthong marine park and koh Tao. If you want a very peaceful place, nice beach, a awesome sunset, and to stay to relax, you are in the perfect hotel, If you like to go to diferent restaurants, bars, stores and movement you must stay in other location. We went to angthong park, awsome, but from de hotel to the pier, one hour by car, its is far from the others places in the island.
We like to go to diferents restaurants, and after a day trip, one hour to the pier, one hour in the ship, and again to return, we stayed to dinner at the hotel. The restaurant is good, but I was expecting more attencion from the staff ( We never saw the chef or the manager), and we stayed 4 nigths st this hotel and we had dinner always at hotel. The staff was very attencious, but not the manager or the chef, only the recepcionist and the waitress.
It is a romantic place, and very good for couples in love.
