“Highlight of Speyside Way”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 October 2011

We stayed at Cragganmore House whilst walking the Speyside Way. Tony and Helen were very welcoming and made us feel completely at home. The house is beautifully restored and furnished and very comfortable indeed. We were in the Turret Room, which has an ensuite with antique bath. The house is in a beautiful location, close to Ballindalloch Station. Dinner was one of the best meals we have ever had, and breakfast similarly lived up to expectations. We can recommend this B&B without any reservations.

“A feast for the soul (and more)”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 October 2011

Thanks to Helen and Tony for making our stay with you such a memorable one. I have called this a feast for the soul as the location is breathtakingly beautiful and the ambience within the house is one that immediately puts you at your ease. Welcoming fires and a deep bath after a day's walking are quite beyond superlatives.
With the Cragganmore distillery literally on your (back)doorstep and the Speyside walk about a quarter of a mile away, it catered for both items on our wish list. The feast continued with the wonderful local fayre we had both in the evening and for breakfast (sausages are quite possibly the best I have tasted anywhere).
The last (but not least) treat for us was the exquisite way in which Helen and Tony have decorated their home making it quite simply a feast for the eyes and somewhere we hope to visit again. Thank you both for everything - it was perfect. Elaine and Mike D.

Room Tip: ASk for the turret room - it adds a little something extra to your stay.

“B & B & much more ... Our third stay with Helen and Tony”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 September 2011

After having stayed at Cragganmore House last year and the year before again we were delighted by the warm welcome. The house has history, is full of character and lies in a suberb location. The room was cosy, spacious and comfortable. Definetly ask for Tony to cook for you in the evening, do not miss his excellent three course gourmet menu; unbelievable. There is Cragganmore Distillery next door and many other distilleries very close and easy to get to by car. The Ballindalloch Castle, residence of a McPherson Clan branch can be walked to (2 miles) and is a gem also. We enjoyed our stay very much and surely will be coming back a forth time!

“Speyside Way walkers”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 September 2011

A most interesting Bed and Breakfast. Great setting and character house. Tony and Helen are very friendly and welcoming. A little on the expensive side for a B and B but then this is no ordinary place! Book a dinner here when you stay and you will not be disappointed by Tony's Cordon Bleu cooking and presentation of the meal....definately 'Master Chef' quality.
The place and the setting right on the Speyside Way will remain in our memories for a long time.

“Very hospitable and superb food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 August 2011

We got there after a rainy day's walk and were very happy that our wet gear was taken care of. Enjoyed the big bath tub before having a fantastic (!!!) supper made by Tony, our host, which was served by Helen, his very friendly wife, in a beautiful atmosphere.
Maybe not the most comfortable bed, but the overall impression of the house and room make up for that.
