“Excellent!”

I've been there twice and all I can say is...Perfect! Wonderful hotel, clean, quiet, tasty greek homemade food, very friendly staff. The owners are very hospitable, perfect service! Stamatis does the best for the clients. The beach is 30 seconds far from the hotel and it's safe for little children. The place is so... relaxing that makes you forget everything. Definitely will come back soon!!

“An exceptional welcome in a lovely place”

This a simple but comfortable small family-run hotel, every room with its own sea-facing balcony to catch the sun. It is only a couple of minutes stroll from a gently sloping sandy beach that is ideal for the less adventurous swimmer and boarded by a choice of several restaurants beside the church of this delightful unspoiled little blue and white village. A little way above on the steep hillside is a huge ancient Kouros, left where it was carved out of the rock because of some defect, perhaps the crack that now runs through its neck. Apollonas has one minimarket and a store selling ceramics and jewellery but no bank (not even a cash machine). It is somewhere for gentle relaxation, not jet-set tourism. There are no clubs or noisy bars and no noisy traffic, just the cicadas. Friendly Stamatis is almost too eager to be of service: the day I arrived he helped people recover a camera one had left on the boat from Athens, the glasses and keys another had left on the bus and next day also restored a hat also left on the bus to its owner. He has good English and passable French (though he doesn't think so). He is eager to improve them and welcomes correction: in return he will help you with your Greek. His mother's traditional cooking is excellent, especially her fish and moussaka and she makes a compote of preserved lemon, a local speciality, that you should try with ice cream. Nothing is too much for Stamatis: he will be there with breakfast ready when you get up with the sunrise to catch the early 6.30 bus and will still be up to cater for any needs when you get back from a local festival at three in the morning. Yes. he does sometimes look tired, but there is always a smile and a welcome.
There is a computer available for guests, or you can use your own laptop with their wi-fi if you can't forget leave that world behind, and there is a fridge in your room for your own supply of chilled drinks etc without having to go down to the bar.

“Really nice hotel for quiet and relaxing holiday”

It was our second time in Apollonas village and in hotel Adonis. At first visit it was "a love at first sight" and we decided to come again. Apollonas is a perfect place to spend stressless vacation in quiet place which is not a tourist trap and the hotel staff is doing everything for guests to enjoy their holiday. Hotel is very clean and well kept. Hotel's location is near little child friendly beach. On windy days we drove to another beach (Panermos) but you will need a car to get there.

We recommend dinners in the hotel. Homemade meals are really tasty, coming in a big portions and for inexpensive price. There you can try very good local food, which is different than in restaurants.

Thank you Stamatis for making our vacation so nice and relaxing! The cherry liquer is sweet and tasty with true flavor of nature :) Greetings to your whole family :)

“Amazing hotel, nicest people you'll meet!”

This was one of our favorite places we stayed at in Greece. It's so charming, and the people are what truly make it worth your while. To add to that, it was also one of the nicest places we stayed. We had a beautiful room with a balcony facing the sea. The town is adorable and definitely worth the drive into Apollon. I highly recommend this hotel and definitely hope to come back here and stay at the very same hotel! Wonderful memories!

Make sure to try some of the fresh lemon liquers made onsite!
