stayed here for 5 days. room was a good size and clean with a reasonable bathroom. towels changed daily but no extra soap/shampoo provided after the first day. satellite TV had about 10 stations available on it. hotel is opposite a school so the 'private' parking for guests fills up at the beginning and end of the school day for about 1 hour. apart from breakfast, the hotel restaurant doesn't open unless there are enough people staying there so be prepared to go into town for your dinner (only a 5 minute walk. avoid the restaurant called Obarras - staff are rude and uninterested although the food is quite good. Edwardus pastelaria is good. if you do eat dinner in the hotel it is quite expensive at 14 euros each but does include a carafe of wine, water and bottled juice. if you eat breakfast, then be prepared for the 'hot' food to be cold! they make scrambledd eggs, bacon and sauages at the start of the breakfast session and then put them into an unheated server - get there after 7.45am and they are cold otherwise a reasonable breakfast (coffee is awful - the worst we have ever tasted in Portugal). room service is not available unless there are plenty of people in the hotel so we can't comment on it (there were only 5 there when we stayed) so take a portable kettle or buy your supplies to take to your room. bar is below the hotel and very noisy up to about 12.00pm. having said all that, considering what we paid for the room it was good value for money and it is in a good position in Tabua. we would probably go again (as there seems to be no other hotel in tabua) but are now prepared for it.

Dear Sirs, I've the pleasure to inform that:

We've changed Breakfast, now is very complete(more variety).

Room service is 24hours/day.

Restaurant continue the 14 euro but it is a complete meal with wine and juice.

Bar, we have more variety, Karaoke in some nights and a lot of fun, but it don't disturbs the hotel, we've insonurized it.

Soap in the bathroom, now we will changed every two days(for those that stays more than 2 days).

Internet, we've a computer in lobby to guests use.

Small groups, we've a 9 seats car and we can do trips to touristic places, that includes transferes.

If you've any problem in the hotel, please ask for me.

Regards,

Virgilio Ferreira
