“Great welcome, friendly and helpful service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 November 2011

We were delighted to find this hotlel available to us late in the year and in a quiet street not far fro the promenade where we were to attend a conference the following day. We were in search of a groundfloor room (as my mother is disables) and we were really pleased to find just what we needed here. A friendly welcome awaited us and we were pleased to have a homely and peaceful place to stay. The breakfast room was spacious and the food (full English) is well recommended. We look forward to staying there again if we are in the area in future. Thank you Judith and Pete!!

Room Tip: Great find in a quiet location.

“A fabulous little find”

We stayed over for a one night stay on a Saturday night. The hotel was lovely & clean and the room, clean and a great size. The owners of the hotel were very friendly and welcoming and allowed us a late checkout as the hotel was quiet. We opted for a breakfast which was lovely, I recommend the full English. The room itself was excellent and we had our own private door so could come and go as we pleased. Excellent location, 2 min walk to the promenade then a ten minute walk into the centre. Would recommend The Ashmount for a lovely peaceful stay.

Room Tip: Excellent location, price and service

A nice quiet B&B in a quiet street a 100 yards from the promenade. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfy, and the breakfasts superb. Pete and Judith the owners are lovely people and nothing was too much trouble for them. We would recomend the Ashmount for a peaceful stay to anyone who wants to get around this beautiful part of Wales,as Rhos on Sea has a good bus service.

“Really good quality and excellent rooms”

We stayed for just one night and would not delay in coming back. The hotels location is excellent being a few minutes walk from the beach/promenade and equidistant from Colwyn Bay and Llandudno.
The room was excellent with very comfortable pillows and we had no trouble sleeping. The furnishing looked new and the bathroom spacious with a good shower and a bath!

Owner was extremely helpful and could not do more to make your stay a good one.

The only thing I did find a disappointment was that to add breakfast for both of us for one monring would cost £16. It is a little excessive at £8 each or it would have to be a very good breakfast!

“Only place to stay in rhos”

We spent 2 nights at the ashmount with our three children. The owners went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, including having a variety of garden toys fir our kids to play with while we lounged in the sun. A stones throw from the beach, a short walk to kids playground and outdoor paddling pool and rhos quaint shopping cafes and shops. Only 10 mins from north Wales zoo! Excellent location for activities but away from the hustle and bustle. Spotlessly clean throughout, a huge bonus in my eyes!
