“Lovely Place”

Stayed at this hotel for one night room 203.
This hotel was easy to find. Very close to the tube station.
Even closer if u leave via the exit that takes you to the train station car park.
This hotel has free parking if u drove.

Check in was easy, polite staff.
The lobby was clean.
Key card entry into rooms.
Hotel had an elevator.

The room was a double and it was large. Clean room and sheets.
Decoration was a bit dated however.
The bed was large and very comfortable. Slept very well.

The toilet/bath was very modern. With good powerful shower.
Complimentary shampoo/bath gel and soap was provided.

The room had flat screen TV and there was complimentary tea/coffee.
We stayed on New Yrs Eve and london was so warm that we didnt have to turn the AC/Heating on at all.

There was a conservatory attached piece to our room that over looked the carpark and the back of the hotel.
I would have loved to have loved to stay longer to enjoy the facilities.

Breakfast was buffet for continental and full english had to be ordered.
The food was good.

Free Wifi, code available from reception but didnt get chance to use.

We had no issues with the hotel.
Would definitely stay again.

Great value for money hotel. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Room a little dated but good size, clean and with its own conservetory. Large comfortable bed. Good full english breakfast and range of continental choices including fresh fruit. Short walk to station and connections to central London. Free parking. Richmond interesting town to explore. Would recommend this hotel for great value stay in a super location.

“Light and airy rooms”

I thought this hotel good value for money. The rooms were lovely and large, light and airy and the location was great - very handy, walking distance to the station and shops.
The decor was a little dated - but it was clean and light and the staff were courteous and helpful.

Room Tip: I was given a large room at the back of the hotel with a huge balcony/conservatory overlooking the c...

“Not worthy of 4* status”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 October 2011

Lets start with the positives. The location was great. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Standards of cleanliness were good.
And now the negatives. The room was a generous size but the decor is very, very dated and the bathroom was rather garish. The biggest negative however was... our room had NO ELECTRICITY! We couldn't switch the lights on, couldn't plug in anything (no hair straighteners for me!) and this really wasn't acceptable for a £100 a night room! For that price and a supposed 4* hotel I would expect a heck of a lot more and will not be staying here again.

“Clean and simple in good location”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 October 2011

I stayed in the Richmond Inn many times over the course of a year whilst working in Richmond. It's in a good location about 5mins walk from the station and centre of Richmond upon Thames.

As far as I'm concerned, the hotel is fairly basic but doesn't pretend to be anything else. Rooms are spacious, simple are spotlessly clean as is rest of hotel. All the rooms I used had trouser press which is useful when travelling on business. Free wi-fi is provided to all rooms and is of good standard. Breakfast is simple - just what you need when travelling on business. There is no restaurant or room service as far as I'm aware but location means that there are dozens of great restaurants within minutes walk.

Overall I'd recommend this as a great hotel for business travellers or people just looking for a basic clean place to stay whilst exploring the area.

Room Tip: Ask for a room at the back as the front and side of hotel overlook busy crossroads and can be noisy...
