We have just returned from a three night stay at Lanhydrock, a present for my husband as he has just started playing golf, so his present was a lesson with Lanhydrocks professional golf pro - Richard O Hanlon.
While my hubby played golf, I sat in the Club House and drank tea, and totally relaxed.
The hotel is really nice, we had a deluxe room on the ground floor, with patio doors that opened onto a small patio with table and chairs, really nice as the weather was amazing...
The room did only have a double bed, which we found small - as we have a superking at home - and probably next time we stay will ask for twin beds and push them together.
The bathrooms was huge and really modern, with a fabulous shower and deep bath. There was tea and coffee facilities and flat screen telly in the room.
The staff were really friendly and efficient, we arrived early and they even made the room ready early so hubby could get changed for his lesson.
I am not interested in golf but at no time did this matter, this hotel is used for weddings, conferences, tourists and professional people, it is a lovely place to stay totally peaceful and quiet.
We found it a lovely ideal place to stay giving us access to all the usual tourist places to visit.
I can't thank Lanhydrock enough for a wonderful relaxing stay and for looking after us so much and we will definitely be back.
Room Tip: Ground floor rooms ( deluxe) - give you a doors onto your own patio complete with table and chairs.
