“"Elegant B&B"”

I have had the pleasure of a most delightful week's stay during June of 2001. Heather and Rey are absolutely the most charming B&B hosts I have ever met during my extensive travels. I highly recommend "108" for your visit to Northern Ireland. The location is conveniently located for shopping, restaurants and sightseeing for all of Northern Ireland. The front bedrooms offer a beautiful view of Bangor Bay and the Irish Sea. I can not overlook the superb 'gourmet' breakfast served each morning. When you plan a trip to Bangor, Northern Ireland, remember "108. It will be a visit that you will always cherish.

“Wonderful Seaside Home”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 April 2008

This is a very nice B&B right along the coastline. The rooms were clean and well maintained, the bed was soft and the water was hot! Breakfast was delicious and plentiful and served in a room that had an incredible view of the harbor and the sea. It was walking distance to the marina, several shops, and restaurants. It was about 30 minutes from downtown Belfast and quite easy to find.
Heather and Ray were very nice as were the other guests I met. The cost was very affordable - much less than a comparable hotel.
I was very fortunate to find this B&B and I'd recommend it to anyone.

“Seaside B&B Gem!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 May 2006

For rest and relaxation, for peace and quiet, for a cozy home atmosphere at the seaside. Small mid-19th Century house comfortably modernized. Immaculate housekeeping. Exquisite decor. Fluffy pillows. Fluffy towels. Totally NONSMOKING environment. Delicious full Irish Breakfast served in the drawing room. Warm hospitality provided by longtime owner, Heather. Sometimes I felt like I was in a Jane Austen novel. Sometimes I felt like I was on a cruise. Just wish I had planned to stay longer! Only a 15 minute walk from the train/bus stations; easy parking if you drive. Bangor is a delightful little seaside resort less than half an hour from Belfast; a good base from which to explore the Ards Peninsula and perhaps even the Antrim Coast.
